Genesis 39:21 says, “But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Joseph is in a dungeon. I don’t care if the jailer likes him. Men die in prison. They last maybe six months tops. And he has the comfort that the lord is with him. The lord was with him when he was being sold as a slave, falsely accused as a rapist, and now in the dungeon. Good job lord.
