Drink offering

Genesis 35:14 says, “And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.”  From the story of Cain and Able we should understand that god only wants blood offerings.  Because Cain was a farmer he should have traded for some animal to slaughter so god could have his blood lust sated and enjoy the smell of burnt flesh (why does god sound more and more like Jeffrey Dahmer?)  Why wasn’t Jacob rebuked for giving a bad offering?
