Exodus 22:20 says, “He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.” What other gods? But this is directly against Exodus 22:21 “Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt” Wouldn’t this be oppression? The Egyptians let the Israelites believe in Jehovah.
