How many cattle do the Israelites have?

Numbers 7:51 says, “One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

7:52 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:

7:53 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.”  If they go through cattle at the rate the last three chapters describe, wouldn’t the Israelites run out of animals?  Sounds like such a waste killing all of those innocent animals for their mad bloody gods strange rules.
