Leviticus 23:38 says, “Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.” Why would god need gifts? Didn’t he create everything? Isn’t everything his? Are you sure this book wasn’t written so the priests could eat and get gifts for doing nothing? Free bread and always the best meat to cook. Now gifts. This sounds like a scam to me. Think about it. God only speaks to one person. Why not just speak to them all at the same time. Why would he be so secretive?
