Gen.11:3 says, “And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.” I don’t know about you but I sure wouldn’t use slime for mortar. It is way to slippery. Building something as large as the Tower of Babel out of slime would be a bad idea. This being said I think God didn’t have to make them all have different languages, the slime would have made it slide apart. Better use nothing at all, like the Egyptians. I don’t think the writer of this was a mason.
