Gen 19:19 says, “Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:” If there was evil in the mountain why would god want to send Lot there? Why not just cleanse it at the same time with Sodom and Gomorrah since he was in a cleansing mood?
