More lairs

Genesis 34:13 says, “And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:”  The sons of Jacob are liars?  Deceivers? The apple sure doesn’t fall far from the tree.  Why is it (so far) only gods people are the liars?  The bad evil people always seem nice.  Even god lied when he told Adan he would surely die if he ate the fruit.  The snake told him the truth.
