Genesis 31:24 says, “And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.” This, in my school would be called bullying but I guess if you are the oh so good and loving god pushing one of your creations around is a nice thing to do, I guess. Couldn’t he have just made it so Laban couldn’t have caught up to Jacob and avoided this whole episode?
