Genesis 37:4 says, “And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.” What a great family dynamic we have here. The sons of Jacob (Israel) see that Joseph got a coat from dad and they jump to the conclusion that he is loved more than them? Then he has a dream and they hate him even more? I have dreams every night and I hope my brother doesn’t hate me for it.
