More things god doesn’t know

Leviticus 13:47 says, “The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;

13:48 Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woolen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

13:49 And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest:”  God should know that washing the clothes would make them clean but I would just throw them away.  The plague would most certainly not grow on the clothes.

  1. Hi Doug,

    Great write up! Isn't it funny (and convenient) that God's level of knowledge seems to be right around that of the people that existed when the bible was written? God doesn't reveal any knowledge that couldn't easily be known by someone during that time. If somewhere in the bible there was a schematic for the Hubble telescope, that would make me a believer. :-)

  2. I hadn't thought of that but it does seem so. What a great insight!
