Gen 24:60 says, “And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.” I have no idea what this means? The gate of those which hate them?

I like what you are doing here. So few Christians seem to have bothered to read their bibles, and we atheists seem far more likely to have done so.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion concerns the verse-by-verse manner in which you are writing your posts. I'm not sure that is the best way to do this. I'd suggest taking larger units, perhaps chapters, and considering the meaning and implications for today. Remember, many Christians insist that their bibles are somehow relevant in today's world.
