Abram is a jerk!

Gen 12:19 says, “now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

12:20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.”  The least Abram could have done is to pay Pharaoh for his trouble.  Abram did lie to him.  He could have left something to help with the plagues in Egypt.  It isn’t like Abram was poor.  Gen 13:2 says, “And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.”
