You are about to read an atheists walk through the bible. This blog is best read from the old posts first because I started in the beginning of the old testament and am working my way forward. Gen 22:16 says, “And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:” God swears to himself? Has anyone ever done that?
Next time I have jury duty I am going to turn down the swearing in and ask if I can swear to myself.
