Looking at the Bible; Who is the he/she?

Gen 1:26 says, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness".  Who is our?  Are there more than one god? So in Gen 1.27  "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."  Now I know what you are thinking.  The bible is talking about Adam and Eve.  The problem there is that God creates Eve later in Gen 2.22.

  What gives?

  2. Christians have traditionally argued that "we" refers to Yahweh and his angels but the view accepted by biblical scholars and comparative mythologists is that the "we" refers to the Semitic Pantheon of which Yahweh was the head of; basically "we" refers to all of the other gods.

other instances of the same sort of thing are Gen 3:22 ("...the man has now become like one of us..."), and Gen 11:7 ("...come, let us go down and confuse their language...").

  3. ... come, let us go down and confuse their language... is one of my favorites but christians always say that god is speaking of the trinity. But if that is true then why does god say he is one lord? Deuteronomy 6:4 says, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
