Hare’s chew cud?

Leviticus 11:6 says, “And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.”  I think god should tell Moses that Hares don’t chew cud.  He should also enlighten his earthly rule setter that Birds don’t walk on four feet. 11:20 says, “All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.”
