Looking at the Bible; God creates light twice?
I think we need to look at the bible and really tear it apart. Isn't it wierd that God created light twice in Genesis? In Gen 1.3 he says, "Let there be light. Gen 1.5 he calls the light Day and the dark night. In Gen 1.14 (this would be the 3rd day) he says "Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night. So he creates a lesser one to rule the day etc..." This is weird. Why would he create light twice?

Apparently, there are two versions of creation, if you read it again. Apologists say one version is a "summary" version, though that is absurd because it's not like it needed summarized (!) and because it is contradictory to the other (!!).
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to blog through the Bible.
ReplyDeleteWIth regards to light, as Ricky Gervais says in one his acts, God created heaven and earth and then created light, which means he created heaven and earth in the dark! How impressive is that?
